Ronald Jameson (19**-) British-born actor. Also credited as Ron Jameson.

He settled in South Africa early 1964.

Career

He learned his craft in London’s Stratford and for several years managed his own touring company in Britain, also appearing in open-air Shakespeare productions and experimental theatre. A founder-director of the Nairobi Arts Theatre he presented such plays as Waiting for Godot and J.B.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

His first role in a South African production was as Jacques in The Miser for PACT in 1964. He directed and acted in A Sleep of Prisoners for PACT in 1965.
