HARWOOD, Ronald. (19**-) Biographer, playwright and screenwriter. Born Ronald (Ronnie) Horwitz in Cape Town**, he trained at **** . In 1951 he went on a theatre tour to England with Leonard Schach. In 19** he moved to England where he worked in theatre, among others with Sir Donald Wolfit (whose biography he wrote) and became a well known writer. His plays include: The Dresser (19**), *** ??? ***

HARWOOD, Ronald. Formerly known as Ronald Horwitz. His The Dresser starring Michael Atkinson, Michael McCabe, Shelagh Holliday, Paddy Canavan, Lynne Maree and Simon Swindell and directed by Leonard Schach was staged at the Market Theatre in 1982 after its initial run at the Baxter Theatre in November 1980.
