Performed in South Africa in Death of a Salesman in 1952, Cyrano de Bergerac (Reps Theatre 1952), The Firstborn (Little Theatre Players 1953), Journey's End (Cockpit Players 1956), The School for Scandal (NTO 1958), Becket (1963), The Big Knife (CAPAB 1965), The Lower Depths (CAPAB 1965), King Lear (Maynardville 1966), Heartbreak House (CAPAB 1967), The Seven Ages (CAPAB 1968), Antony and Cleopatra (CAPAB 1975).

He worked for NTO Kamertoneel on occasion.

He directed for the Bloemfontein Repertory Society.
