As a concept

Reminiscence theatre is about seeing and realising the dramatic potential in real life stories. It takes verbatim memories as the basis for theatre scripts, using the experiences of older people as a source of artistic productions and therapeutic creativity.

Reminiscence Theatre in South Africa

Reminiscence Theatre and the Bashoto Cultural Village project

A theatre for development company, which called itself Reminiscence Theatre, evolved the play Remembering for the Future for the Bashoto Cultural Village, directed by Marthinus Basson and toured with it in Belgium and England during 200*.
