Reluctant Heroes is a farce by British playwright, screenwriter and actor Colin Morris [1] (1916-1996).

The original text

The play premiered in 1950 at the Whitehall Theatre. Published in paperback format in 1951, publisher's details unknown.

A screen version was produced in 1951.

Performance history in South Africa

Produced by the Brian Brooke Company, date and venue unknown, starring Kenneth Baker.

Presented at Johannesburg’s Academy Theatre in the 1970s starring Brian Rix.
