Raaiselkind ("Riddle Child") is an Afrikaans novel by Annelie Botes, about autism and a mother’s attempts to deal with it. (Tafelberg Publishers Ltd, 2001)

Adapted for the stage under the same title by Saartjie Botha.

Performance history in South Africa

First performed at the Woordfees and the KKNK in 2003, with Antoinette Kellerman, June van Merch, Neels van Jaarsveld and Lorraine Burger, directed by Marthinus Basson.
