Promised Land of Balalatladi by Omphile Molusi. A play based on traditional folklore, the play tells the story of six survivors of a village devastated by man-eating ogres.

Performance history in South Africa

First produced at the the Market Theatre in 2009*?, directed by Monageng ‘Vice’ Motshabi.

It was selected for presentation at the 11th New Visions/New Voices festival held May 21 - May 23, 2010 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
