Performance history in South Africa

1945: Presented in Afrikaans by K.A.T. at the Hofmeyr Hall, Cape Town, 22 May 1945, directed by Anna Viljoen, starring Noel Bruce (Jimmie), Wouter Marais (Mr Bestbier), Issie Dippenaar (Mrs Bestbier) and Frans van der Colff (Dirk). Two other one-act plays, Mede-eienaars in Spanje and Die Stem van die See were presented on the same occasion.
