Plastics is a play by Shirley Johnston about the struggle of four Sandton housewives against the onslaught of poverty and finding salvation in Tupperware. SACPAC Best Playwright Award 1991.

Design by Lindy Roberts, choreography by Jeanette Ginslow, musical/original score by Michele Maxwell. This production was also staged on the Fringe, National Arts Festival.
