Pieter de Swardt (19**-) is a set and lighting designer and stage manager

He was the first student who completed the Diploma for Stage Managers of the University of Stellenbosch in 1967 and on 1 December 1967 he joined the CAPAB Afrikaans drama company as Stage Manager.


Also worked as lighting and sometimes set designer. He did the sets and lighting for decor and lighting Moeder Hanna, Pieter Fourie's Die Koggelaar.

In the early days he also did some acting, appearing in Moeder Hanna (1970),
