JACOBS, Pieter.  (19**-) Playwright, actor and arts manager. Studied at  performing arts at the Tshwane University of Technology, then joined a touring performance group under the auspices of the ATKV (Afrikaanse Taal en Kultuur Vereniging). As actor performed in various theatre productions in SA and Ireland,  including Benjamin Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream and Happy Endings Are Extra. His plays include Plofstof (KKNK, 2004, Winner of a Nagtegaalprys) and  Dalliances (Artscape, 2008). As TV performer has appeared in Song vir Katryn (KykNet & Mnet). He has also done event management in the United Arab Emirates.
