(19*-) Actor and comedian. Studied at the University of **, worked for PACT, *** Starred in Snoopy (Sand du Plessis Theatre, Bloemfontein, 1985), Scorched Earth (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 1989), Vasvat van 'n Feeks ("Taming of a Shrew") (PACT, 198*), Tjaart Potgieter’s production of Mitzi Booysen’s The Time of the Hyena together with Elize Cawood and Nomhle Nkonyeni at the Windybrow Theatre circa 1986. Starred in Ibsen’s A Doll’s House at Upstairs at the Market Theatre in 1990. *** Also did much TV work as a comic actor. In 1995 he co-founded Pomegranate Restaurant in Melville Johannesburg, with Chef Janet Telian. In 1999 he and director and SABC producer Johan Bernard retired to France to found and run a successful guest house, Ma Cachette, in Arlanc.
