(19**-19**) Actress, journalist, commercial artist and advertising manager. Born in Burgersdorp, she was a distant relative of [[André Huguenet]]’s. Made her debut as actress for Huguenet in ''[[Haar egskeiding]]'' (“Her divorce”) in 1935, then also did ''[[Gevaarlike huwelik]]'' (1935), ''[[Die Kwaksalwer]]'' (1939), ''[[Ek het ‘n man vermoor]]'' (193*), and ''[[Helshoogte]]'' (194*) with him.  In 1942 she joined the [[Pierre de Wet]] company, along with [[James Norval]] and [[Anna Cloete]], and had a happy time performing in plays such as ''[[Pinkie]]'' (1942-43) and ''[[Satansloon]]'' (1942). In 1944, after a serious operation, she bid the stage farewell and turned to commercial art and the publicity and marketing sector.
