Biography

Born Patricia Doris Slavin, but best known professionally as Patti Slavin.

In 1995 she completed an MA degree at the University of Natal, Durban with an unpublished thesis on A scenographic approach to Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare: an investigation into the artistic, aesthetic and practical considerations in performance with specific reference to selected productions.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She worked as a designer for PACT, NAPAC and The Playhouse Company.
