Translated and adapted from Moser's German original into Dutch as Pappa gaf Permissie ("Father gives permission") by C.F van der Brugghen (Carel Theodorus van der Brugghen, 1812-?, sometimes listed as "G.T. van der Brugghen") in 1874. Title also found as Pappa gaf Permissie!. Performed in Dutch by the association Kunst door Vriendschap in the Neerlandsch Koffiehuis in Leiden on 14 December 1874 and in the Leidse Schouwburg on 13 June, 1875. Text published by G. Theod. Bom in 1874

Performance history in South Africa

1892: Performed by the rederijkerskamer Oefening Baart Kunst in Pretoria in March.
