Awarded the IGI Life Vita 1991/1992 Regional Award for Best Script for both the Cape and Natal regions and the author won the IGI Life Vita 1991/1992 National Award for South African playwright of the year.

Performance history in South Africa

Performed at the National Arts Festival in 1991, starring Michele Scott and Graham Hopkins who also directed the play.

A Gaudeamus Productions production was directed by the author at the National Arts Festival (June-July 1992), Baxter Theatre (July-August 1991) and the Market Theatre (October 1991) starring Graham Hopkins, Michelle Scott, Robert Kirby, Graham Weir (replaced by Frantz Dobrowsky in subsequent productions) and Sello Maake Ka-Ncube. Setting and lighting by Denis Hutchinson.

Presented by NAPAC at The Drama, January 1992 starring Graham Hopkins, Shirley Ellis, Robert Kirby, Frantz Dobrowsky and Sello Maake Ka-Ncube.
