Performed in King Lear (as “Goneril”), Flea in Her Ear (as “Raymonde”), Candida (in the title role), A Thousand Clowns (as “Sandra”), You Never Can Tell (as “Mrs Clandon”), Henry V (as “Katharine”), Enemies (as “Polina”).

The Durban Theatre Academy grew from the Durban Theatre Foundation's Academy, run by Sandra Herrington, under the auspices of the Little Abbey Theatre, spearheaded by Pamela Perry. It was founded in the early 1980s, when fringe theatre was at its peak in Durban. Daily News, 9 May 2003.

She won a Vita Award (KZN region) as best actress in a supporting role for Murder Among Friends, 1994 award year. She was nominated in the same category for the national award.
