Performance history in South Africa
Premièred at The Market Theatre (a co-production with Pale Productions), directed by Bobby Heaney, with Tim Plewman, Paul Slabolepszy, Bill Flynn and Danny Keogh 17 January 1994. The production moved to the Baxter Theatre (April 1994) and returned to The Market Theatre for another run from 18 May to 9 July 1994. Set design by Lindy Roberts, lighting design by Mannie Manim, costume co-ordinator Sue Steele, stage manager Royden Paynter.
2014: Produced 9 April to 11 May 2014 at the Market Theatre, directed by Bobby Heaney, with James Cairns, Ashley Dowds, Lionel Newton and Antony Coleman. Lighting designer: Nomvula Molepo, set and costumes: Noluthando Lobese, stage manager: Lebeisa Molepo and publicist: Robert Motseko.
