Probably not the same person as another amateur known as P.H. Theunissen (fl. 1820s).

A member of and actor for the Cape Town based rederijkerskamer called Aurora II (1866-1887) and a performer for the Cape Town based company Door Yver Bloeit de Kunst (1892-1910).
