P. Auret (17**-18**) was an amateur performer in Cape Town during the 1820s and 1830s.

He was a member of Tot Nut en Vermaak in the 1820s, on occasion holding the subscription lists for performances at his office at 21 Plein Street.

According to Broom (cited in Bosman) he was also a member of C.E. Boniface's society, Honi Soit qui Mal y Pense in the 1830s.
