P.A. Gawthorn (fl 1900) was an actor.


Biography

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

A member of Leonard Rayne's company in 1909-1910, when it offered a repertoire of six plays, opening at the Standard Theatre, Johannesburg, and then touring the various cities, including a performances at the Opera House, Cape Town. Gawthorn is specifically mentioned as playing "Wilfred Denver" in The Silver King.
