("Rebellion 1815") by H.W. Teengs. A locally written Dutch afterpiece dealing with the history of the Border farmers (1815-1835). Performed in July 1868 in Cape Town by Aurora, following on Teengs's locally written Dutch play Willem Nel. This was followed by a second performance later the same month in Paarl, with the farce Niet of Graag as afterpiece. They also did it in Wynberg (August 1869, afterpiece Tante Trui - i.e. "Aunt Pullover") and Bloemfontein under the auspices of President J.H. Brand in 8 July 1869.
