Olympic Circus De Paris

The Olympic Circus De Paris was created by Monsieur H Olivier.

The circus performed in Port Elizabeth in a tent erected where Strand Street is now located, which was capable of holding 2,000 people. During the show “grand scenes in the circle” were produced including “daring and graceful acts of horsemanship” and “various other amusements”. The “monster circus” was erected specially for him and a band was in attendance.
