Based on Akerman's school days at Michaelhouse, a privileged Natal private boarding school for boys.

Won a Vita Best Script Award in 1997.

Business Day wrote of it: "You are unlikely to see anything as good on any other stage in the country".

1996: Première production in the Loft Theatre at the Durban Playhouse in June 1996, directed by Anthony Akerman, with Nicholas Ashby, Jacqui Logie, Timothy Wells, Ashley Dowds and Antony Coleman.
