Oidipoes is the Dutch and Frisian name for Oedipus, and is also found as an older Afrikaans form, still occurring in the 1960s (see for instance P.J. Conradie[1]), though by the mid 1960s it appears to have been replaced by "Oidipus" or even "Oedipus", also in the newer dictionaries.
