Offending the Audience (original title Publikumsbeschimpfung) is a speaking piece by German playwright Peter Handke [1] (born 1942).

Performance history in South Africa

Presented at the Little Theatre, Cape Town, under the direction of Robert Mohr from 9 to 23 March 1974. The speakers: Paul Baskind, Lesley Nott, Diane Cox, Jonathan Rand, Paul Herzberg, Angelique Rockas, Judith Krummeck, Marcel van Heerden.
