He grew up in Namaqualand.

Career

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He made his debut as actor in Paul Malherbe's production of Die Gelukkigste Dae van jou Lewe. He appeared on stage in Husse met Lang Ore, Send for Dolly (Baxter Theatre), Die Vonkel in haar oë! - 'n Spel van my kontrei, Brothers and on television in Heroes, Boerewysheid, Arende.

As director: he directed Mes Amis Mes Amours for Oude Libertas and is own play Kringspel 'n Kleuterspel vir Grootmense (ATKV Best Production, Best Director]]), and Kennedy's Children.
