Nick Visser (1943-1998) was an academic and literary critic.

Biography

He was born Nicholas Visser in the USA, where he grew up and did undergraduate studies at Kenyon College. He came to South Africa in 1966,


He died in 1998.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He co-edited (with Tim Couzens) the volume H.I.E Dhlomo: Collected Works (Johannesburg: Ravan Press, 1985).
