Neill Solomon (19**-). Musician, singer, composer.

Biography

Matriculated at Marist Brothers’ college, Durban and then studied Graphic adesign at Durban Technikon. After a year working as an artist he went into music. He consecutively formed the bands Neill Solomon and the Uptown Rhythm Dogs, Neill Solomon's Bazaar and Neill Solomon and the Passengers.

Training

Career

In 1985 he joined the Loft Theatre Company with Nicholas Ellenbogen, performing in a number of Nicholas’s plays.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He performed in Sin, The Trophy Hunters, Kwamanzi and A Nativity. He composed the music for Play@Risk, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Gathering of the Beasts, Nothing but the Truth, Torings.
