COETZEE, Neels. (194*-) Actor on stage, radio, TV and screen. Studied at the University of Pretoria Drama Department (?*) and in 19** joined PACOFS as actor. There he played numerous lead roles, including ***, “Caliban” in Leslie French’s acclaimed The Tempest (196*) ***, . In 19** he moved to the Cape to become a member of the CAPAB company, for whom he did ****. Freelance since 19**, he has done numerous plays, including ** ** Aristophanes's Die Tou (Fleur du Cap Theatre Award, Best Supporting Actor 1992) ** . Drie Susters Twee (Reza de Wet, 19**) ’s ****. Since the disbanding of the PAC’s he has been in demand as senior actor by smaller independent productions, doing ***, Wynland (Jan Ellis, 2001), Koggelmanderman (Pieter Fourie, 2003), Vrededorp by Charles Fourie (KKNK, 2005), . Also a regular radio and television actor.
