Natie Rula (also Nathi Rula) (1953-2015) was a South African stage, television and radio actress. Best known for her role in the SABC 1 soap opera Generations.

Biography

She was born and educated in Cape Town.

Career

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She appeared in several productions for The People's Space including Lysistrata S.A., The Sacrifice of Kreli, The Final Sting of the Dying Wasp, This Time Tomorrow, The Resistable Rise of Arturo UI and Dikichining as well as in in Call me Woman and It's a Boy!. She played Christine in Miss Julie in 1985.

In addition to considerable experience as a radio actress, Natie has also appeared in the films Maxhosa, Harry's Kid and Zambezi and as Nontombi Mthembu in Generations on television.
