Natalie Gamsu (19**-) Actress. Cabaret and revue artist.


Biography

Born and raised in Windhoek.


Training

Graduated from UCT with a Performers Diploma and a BA degree in 1982.

Career

After graduating she spent a year in Cape Town doing Theatre in Education work with Phyllis Klotz. She moved to Johannesburg at the end of 1983 and formed the cabaret duo Strictempo with Joanna Weinberg, performing at Club '58.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Up 'n Atom The Puppet Rock Picture Play; Patchers at the Market Theatre; Late-night music revue at the Laundro called Tarts, 1986. Played the role of Sally in Pack of Lies at the Market Theatre in 19**.

She starred in Tobie Cronjé’s production of Nunsense at the Alhambra Theatre in 1988. She starred in Let’s Do It in the new Village Manor Theatre in 1991.
