Nape Motana (1945-), part-time playwright, poet, novelist and full-time social worker from Pretoria. His name is also written Nape'a Motana.

He wrote The Honeymoon is Over in 1995. This play was staged at the Civic Theatre in Johannesburg during 1996.

He wrote the fiction works Hamba sugar daddy (2016), Son-in-law of the Boere (2010) and Fanie Fourie's Lobola. The latter was turned into a feature film, released in 2013.
