Subject

A young woman's journey from bar lady in Port Elizabeth to becoming an unmarried mother who returns in disgrace to her home town to make a living as a seamstress.

Performance history in South Africa

Staged at the Grahamstown Festival in 1998, performed by Gretha Brazelle, directed by Warrick Grier.

Staged in June 2000 by The Kultcha Klub as part of their One Night Stand at the Wits Theatre Complex, performed by Gretha Brazelle, directed by Warrick Grier.

The same production was subsequently performed in various venues around the country.
