NTO Bilingual Touring Company

In 1948?* NTO founded a bilingual company to tour with Afrikaans and English plays. The first company consisted of André Huguenet, Siegfried Mynhardt, Leon Gluckman, Frank Wise, Lorna Cowell, Vivienne Drummond, Mathilda Hanekom and Enone van den Bergh.

Their repertoire included ***.

The last bilingual company toured in 1950 and included Gerrit Wessels, **, and **.


In 1951 this joint company was replaced by two independent touring companies – an English company and an Afrikaans company, to tour independently till the dismantling of NTO in 1961. [??*]
