My Husband's Ghost is a farce in one act by John Maddison Morton (1811-1891)[1].
Also found as My Husband's Ghost! and referred to as "A Comic Interlude".

Often reprinted, i.a. by Thomas Hailes Lacy in 1850, the Music-Publishing Company, 1860 (as Issue 275 of Cumberland's British theatre), .

Performance history in South Africa
1864: Performed by the officers and men of the 10th Regiment (2nd Batallion) 10th Regiment (2nd Battalion) in the Theatre Royal, Cape Town, on 29 August, with Little Toddlekins, with intersperced 'Interludes of Singing and Instrumental Music". Apparently to a full house and unbounded applause. (The play wrongly ascribed to "Norton" by Bosman, 1980)
