An African Consolidated Theatres production was staged in South Africa by Bob Herbert, with Diane Todd in the cast, in [1959 or 1960?]
1962: Done by African Theatres with Diane Todd and David Oxley), at the Empire Theatre. It played to 234 packed houses, before repeating its success in Cape Town and Durban.
1963: Presented by African Consolidated Theatres at the Alhambra Theatre, directed by Simon Montigue.
1977: PACT production directed by Francois Swart, with Michael Atkinson and Gordon Mulholland in the cast, at the Civic Theatre, Johannesburg, from 17 November 1977.
1978: Presented by CAPAB Music at the Nico Malan Opera House, directed by Michael Atkinson opening 21 October. Musical direction by Gerry Bosman, lighting by John T. Baker.
198?: PACT Opera production directed by Francois Swart at the State Theatre, Pretoria.
