Mrs Black (17**-18**) was an amateur actress in Cape Town, or possibly a semi-professional actress.

Her contribution to South African theatre

She appeared for the Garrison Amateur Company as "Lady Cranberry" in Exchange no Robbery (Hook), and "Flora" in The Midnight Hour (Dumaniant/Inchbald), on 8 October 1825; "Cecily Homespun" in The Heir at Law (Colman Jr) on 16 August 1826.
