Mr Forrest was probably a British naval officer.

Biography

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

His name occurs in connection with the opening performances given by crew members and local amateurs in the Simon's Town Theatre in 1856, for which played "Macbeth" in Talfourd's Travestie of Macbeth and sang a rendition of The Rat-catcher's Daughter.
