One of Aron’s “Irish” plays, it deals with the efforts of a daughter to escape her mother’s stifling influence, which come to fruition when a defrocked priest arrives to lodge in their boarding-house. First performed as part of a Triple Bill with The Shrinking of Alby Chapman and Bar and Ger in the Baxter Theatre Studio in 1977.
