Moon Box Theatre

The Moon Box Theatre is an intimate entertainment venue.

Also referred to as the Moonbox Theatre

The venue

Situated in Gerard Moedyk Street in Sunnyside, Pretoria (City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality), next to the Breytenbach Theatre, it was conceived and executed by students from the Tshwane University of Technology's entertainment technology department as a venue for for poetry, hip-hop, jazz and house music events.

In 2005 it became the home base for Footsack Productions

Among the pieces performed at the venue have been:

2001: Langs 'n Kannaspad, a cabaret by Retief Lubbe

2005: www. Love In Cyberspace. Co. Za by the 3 Dimensions Theatre Company from Cape Town on 23 and 24 September.
