(English: "Montagu Youth Arts Festival") This festival has gone through two phases, shifting from a dominantly Afrikaans festival to a multilingual one.

Die Montagu Jeug Kunstefees or The Montagu Youth Arts Festival (1995-2010)

An arts festival for the youth started in 1995 by teachers and volunteers from the Montagu area, and by the local tourism office. Aimed at primary, high school and tertiary education institutions in Cape Town and the surrounding areas, but also including Port Elizabeth, Mossel Bay, Worcester and George, the festival has a number of categories such as Music, Art, Photography, Dance, Literature, Poetry, Puppetry and Drama.

Montagu Music, Art, Dance and Drama Festival (2011-)

In 2011, Helen Gooderson took over as Festival Director and changed the name from the Montagu Jeug Kunstefees to the Montagu Music, Art, Dance and Drama Festival (MMADD) and simultaneously registered the RAD Foundation as an NPO.
