Miriam Terblanche (1946-) is a qualified librarian, cultural tour guide and theatre researcher.

Born Alexandria, Eastern Cape 14 October 1946, she studied Library Science at the University of Stellenbosch and worked as a librarian and subject specialist at various institutions in Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg before joining the staff of the University of Stellenbosch's J.S. Gericke Library as specialist librarian for 21 years. On her retirement, she trained as a cultural tour guide, founding her own company.

In 2009 she became a part-time research assistant to Temple Hauptfleisch, her responsibilities including administrative and editorial assistance on, as well as research for and contributions to, the Encyclopaedia of South African Theatre and Performance (ESAT).
