She had roles in America Hurrah (Little Theatre), The Sport of my Mad Mother (The Space, 1972), **. Became a member of The Company.

She starred in Sophiatown in 1986.

She wrote the play Walk in the Undergrowth.

She scripted the South African musical documentary We've Got All the Power produced by Pam Devereux and directed by Lisa Brittain.

She directed the mini series uGugu no Andile, which was aired on SABC 1 in 2008.
