Middle Age Spread is a play by Roger Hall (1939-)[1].

The original text

Written by New Zealand playwright Roger Hall, the play premiered at the Circa Theatre in Wellington, New Zealand in 1977[1]. It was later staged at the London West End Lyric Theatre in 1978, winning the Laurence Olivier Award Comedy of the Year.

Performance history in South Africa

1980: Pieter Toerien produced the play, directed by Stephen Hollis, with Helen Jessop, Rex Garner, Eric Flynn, Tammy Bonell and Christine le Brocq. It went on a national tour, (inter alia playing at the Baxter Theatre 19 August - 6 September), before opening at the André Huguenet Theatre in October.
