Michael Shevelew (19**-). Actor.




He studied at the University of Cape Town Drama Department in the late 1970s.


He apparently left South Africa and apppeared in the British feature film A Flame to the Phoenix in 1983, followed by other international films over the years.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Stage appearances include A Midsummer Night's Dream (as Nick Bottom, 1976), East (as Dad, 1978), Pleasure and Repentance, Travesties and he composed music for Talking Deafman.
