He studied in Israel and at the Webber-Douglas School in London.


Career

He played in a number of films, TV, radio and several Shakespeare plays outside South Africa.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Jojo in Irma la Douce, 1960.

He played Romeo in PACT School’s Tour of Romeo and Juliet and in 1965 he played Demetrius in A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Alexander Theatre. His first appearance at Maynardville was as Cornwall in King Lear in 1966.

He starred in the revue What Was, Was! (1965), in Olive King, The Minstrel Scandals (1966), Uncle and the Jukebox, The Caucasian Chalk Circle (PACT, 1965), performed in Golden Rendezvous (as “Dexter”) and in Brickhill-Burke’s Winnie the Pooh.

Was the assistant to the director for Brickhill-Burke’s Annie.
