Meisies van Vervloë Dae ("Girls of days gone by") is a one-act play by Bartho Smit (1924 - 1986).


The original text

His first play, it was published in the collection Rooibruin Blare en Ander Eenakters by Afrikaanse Persboekhandel 1968 and in Losgoed by Perskor in 1974.

Performance history in South Africa

1959: First produced as a double bill with Moeder Hanna by National Theatre Organisation in its NTO Kamertoneel, directed by Bartho Smit himself.
