(Afrikaans = "Master") by D.F. Malherbe (1881-1969). A play in four acts about a travelling Dutch teacher in a rural area who falls in love. First (?*) production by the GUK Dramatic Society with Malherbe himself in the cast, along with Benedictus Kok and Bram Fischer (1929). First published Nasionale Pers, 1927.
