Mdu Kweyama (19*-) Actor, director.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Roles in Onnest'Bo (2006), Verkeer (Vleis, Rys en Aartappels, 2008), Karoo Moose, Woyzeck (2010).

He directed The Return of the Ancestors (National Arts Festival 2015), Woza Albert! (2015 and 2016) and was the associate director for King Kong: An All-African Jazz Opera, 2017.

Awards, etc.

He won Naledi Awards (Best Original Choreography (Musical or Revue) as well as Best Performance by an Actor in a Lead Role (Play)) for Karoo Moose, 2009.
